Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain

5.0

Was one of those rare books that made me feel as if Susan Cain saw and understood me as an individual. Explaining the inherent differences between those on the introvert/extrovert spectrum in a straightforward, non-judgmental, and practical manner. Cain dives into cultural origins, preferences, and consequences of what she calls 'the extroverted ideal' and its effect on personal success, stress, self-worth, etc.
