I felt like this book and the whole series tbh were mid at best. This book in particular felt like there was too much going on and none of it really got flushed out the way we saw in Acotar. I would have liked to know more about how the main character Bryce seemingly suddenly had all these plans she didn’t share with anyone (even her mate) until after the fact. Also there was not enough tension as every conflict various characters had were wrapped up in a few pages. I feel like for an over 800+page book more could have been done.
