Ahhhh I wish this was the type of series that followed one MC throughout. That's what I had thought originally, so I was disappointed to find out that the next book features a new MC since I liked Sam so much. Nevertheless, this book is such fun! I loved the camaraderie between the characters, and I love how competent Sam is at his job.
I docked a star cause the ending feels a bit rushed to me, and I so had wanted to stay with Sam a few more books longer. :( There were a few pacing issues as well, although those did not lessen my enjoyment of the characters. I'll check out the next book.
