This is a short story about Ellie and Braden's best friend Adam. Ellie has been in love with Adam since she was a teenager. Adam has made it clear that he wouldn't cross that line because she's his best friend little sister. However, the hot/cold signals he sends her made me want to punch him. Ellie would try to date and he'd ruin them. 😑 After she receives a scary diagnosis, he has to make a choice if he's willing to fight for her, even if it's his best friend.
