challenging inspiring reflective slow-paced

I picked this one up hoping for a lyrical, inspired tribute to the storytelling genius of Taylor Swift, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I gave it three stars – not because there weren’t a few standout poems, but because the collection as a whole felt oddly disjointed and at times, a bit forced.

📝 What Worked:
🎤 Moments of Magic – There were a few pieces that really captured the spirit of Swift’s lyrics, playing with the themes of love, loss, and self-discovery in interesting ways. Those moments made the collection worth dipping into.
🎧 Nostalgic Vibes – For fans of Swift’s discography, there’s a certain charm in seeing how her music can inspire such a wide range of interpretations.

🔀 What Didn’t:
🔗 Lack of Flow – The poems felt disconnected, jumping from one tone to the next without much cohesion. It was like flipping through a playlist that never quite hit its groove.
🗣️ Mixed Quality – Poetry is subjective, of course, but some of the pieces felt more like filler than fully realized works, lacking the emotional punch I hoped for.
