Sweet Tea and Sympathy by Molly Harper

4.0

Written with a twang that is unmistakable throughout the entire book, Harper takes readers into a down home Southern small town that, while over the top in its eccentricity, will leave you begging for more.

Thanks to Gallery Books for the advance copy of this title - all opinions are my own!

I have to admit that I truly did NOT love Margot at the beginning of this sassy chick lit story, but over the course of the narrative she really began to grow on me. Or perhaps, as she grew to love Lake Sackett and her family, I was able to relate to her better. Either way, by the end of the book I was so relieved to already know that this book is the first in a series and I'll be able to return to the characters soon!

If you are looking for a light, quirky, down-home Southern story, look no further!
