This book was absolute trash. I have no idea why it has so many 3 to 5 star reviews.
Lapena writes like she’s in a high school creative writing class. It’s so juvenile. I noticed MANY grammatical and spelling errors. Not to mention it flowed like a dried up river. Comparing this to Agatha Christie??? That’s slander.
The story was subpar. The rushed ending and the reveal of the killer? Absolutely not. There were so many unnecessary scenes and dialog that obviously shows she needed to reach a word count.
I have 2 more books by her in my kindle library that I’m irritated I spent money on.
