We get a well-written enemy-to-lovers trope, supportive friendships, and a complicated magic system to entertain us. My favourite element is the personal growth of multiple characters in different ways. Emotion is not a weakness, stress is unhealthy, and sometimes toxic people need to be told to back off so they stop stunting your growth and you can become who you are meant to be.
