The Hitman's Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love
by Alice Winters
adventurous
funny
4.25⭐️
A chaotic but crazy-successful hitman and a golden-hearted PI cross paths in the funniest of ways. The two are (coincidentally) working the same case, just from different angles. Though Jackson, the PI, is determined to capture the elusive “sandman” at first, he can’t help but be charmed by his antics.
This book was a classic Alice Winters book: chaotic banter, action and violence, hilarious shenanigans, wild situations, and two MCs that start off as rivals and end up being willing to burn the world for each other. There’s a lot of good development here. I did enjoy the book a lot!
Though the plot does feel a little scattered, it does have a twist I didn’t see coming, and a great balance of funny and action!
