“And what was more, Delilah didn’t want this to be only that, just kisses and coming. She wanted . . . this. Roller skating and amazing sex and this peaceful sort of talking and not talking, cuddling and questions and a place to belong. A person to belong to.”

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care follows Delilah as she is forced to work as the photographer for her estranged stepsister, Astrid’s, wedding. Coming back to her hometown of Bright Falls isn’t easy for Delilah because it is a place filled with sad memories of her childhood. On her first day back she bumps into Claire, one of Astrid’s best friends, and figures she could have a bit of fun with the given situation. Claire has her own drama to deal with being a single mother to an eleven-year-old girl and having an ex whose record in reliability isn’t the best. Through the myriad of wedding events and a plot to save Astrid from her shit boot fiancé the two of them couldn’t help but be drawn to each other.

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care was an enjoyable and funny read with a lot of serious moments. It really was like watching a rom-com in my head as I read through. I wasn’t a big fan of the insta-lust/love, like, there was tension but it wasn’t enough for me. Though that doesn’t take away the fact that these two had me giggling and smiling, and almost rolling on the bed because of how cute (and sexy!!!) they were.
