This was a Spotify listen - the narrators were incredible!! Their French was amazing!! I absolutely loved that!
The first part of the book did kind of drag a bit in terms of the relationship between Megan and Alex. We did however get a lot of wonderful details about Megan and her friends exploring Paris. It was a little like taking a virtual tour.
Once Alex and Megan met, it wasn’t love but it also wasn’t hate. They were definitely intrigued by each other. They quickly discovered how much they actually enjoyed each others company. Their chemistry was evident and they quickly fell into bed with each other. The sex scenes were fantastic. So descriptive and passionate. Additionally Megan was no shrinking Violet. She has a deliciously wonderful dirty mouth and was not shy at all. We love a bold queen!! And when Alex would speak French while they were intimate - whoa boy!!
The conflict was startling but not unexpected. I do like how quickly and efficiently it was addressed and ultimately resolved. I could have done with less female bashing but given the circumstances it wasn’t completely uncalled for.
The HEA was super sweet and very fitting for this couple. This is definitely worth the listen!!
