Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.

guys please don't crucify me. I promise I tried so damn hard but I cannot get through this book!!! there are a lot of reasons so I'll just list them: none of the characters really call to me, it feels like they're all so wildly different and put together for a ~diverse queer found family~ but it did not hit for me; I don't like august and Jane feels like a manic pixie dream girl; I don't particularly love Casey's writing style, I got through RWRB because I was gifted the physical book and this e-version did not give me that same "you have to finish it because someone spent money on it" guilt feeling. also I'm a New Yorker and the fact that

they fuck on the train with people there

grossed me out so hard. also also august, you're not a New Yorker just because you let a rat crawl on your feet or whatever, that's just gross.
