I was drawn to this book because of the artwork, not knowing about the subject matter at all. Reading that the author wrote it as a “guide book” for others because there didn’t seem to be one out there made it even more powerful. The author doesn’t gloss over recovery from anorexia or binge eating and shows it can be a daily struggle for control. The artwork and story are powerful and I know this is a book that is needed by many.
