This book is so cozy! It’s light, fun, and full of joy and love. And it’s exactly the length a romance novel should be. I am sick of romance novels where the characters get together just at the end and then there’s no time to build a solid relationship and work out the problems that prevented them from getting together until the end. The Bookshop of Second Chances is long enough that they get together and are able to actively resolve their issues without being so long that it gets boring (and I don’t feel that’s a spoiler because that is simply the name of the genre).
