I stopped reading half way and picked it back up this week. It was a decent read but there’s a few plot holes. That and the guy is an asshole who can’t take no for an answer. Super annoying. I find it hard to believe that a high profile lawyer in a scandalous case can just disappear and work as a lawyer again in a new firm under a new identity. It was said that NYTimes hated him and refuse to post his pictures out of spite. Shouldnt they be doing opposite if they hate him? Paste his face everywhere to bring his name down? And I’m sure other news would report about his case too. I also expected more lawyer bantering and talk tbh
