While I was reading this book, the song “Until I Found Her” by Stephen Sanchez kept playing in my mind. Here are the lyrics that played on repeat:

I want you in my arms
Oh, let me hold you
I'll never let you go again like I did
Oh, I used to say
I would never fall in love again until I found her"
I said, "I would never fall unless it's you I fall into" I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her
I found you.

This was a good book that was very different from Christina Lauren’s normal books. I really wanted to give this one 4 stars, because of the way it started. But in the end, I just couldn’t. The way the book started really bugged me, as if it was the second book in a series that you really needed to read the first book to understand. BUT, in the end, I get the storytelling. I really liked the mystery and adventure in this book. Once Terry was gone, I couldn’t put it down. The riddles and intricacies of the hunt were confusing to me, because I just wanted to get to the next big thing in the book. So I didn’t take the time to really “get” them. 🤪 But still, a very good read!
