It was cute, but I think you could tell this is a somewhat novice writer. I had to re-read some things a few times to make sure they made sense, and there were a few times I felt like the author used big extravagant words even when they weren't needed. It also didn't mix well with the times the book felt like more on the "high school side" like the author is still developing their unique writing style. Overall it could've been written out better instead of like the author was trying to fit into a mold they don't need to conform into.
