My first 5-star of the year, and if I could I would give it more than 5.
I picked Lie With Me up expecting it to be similar to Swimming in The Dark, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was everything I wished Swimming in the Dark was. This book is flawless.
Such a short book, but it made me feel so much and left me emotionally drained.
I went in knowing nothing, and didn't pay attention to the dedication, so I was left in the dark until the very last page, and the realisation took my breath away and made me uncontrollably sob.
A solid way to start the year.
