they’re the most unserious couple in Disney and I love them for it ❤️🩹 Phillip was my first love so I always knew he was my type and with this story i confirmed it 😂
he’s the most genuine prince tbh, he doesn’t want the weight of the kingdom on his shoulders, he doesn’t feel like a noble knight from a fairy tale, nor the hero, but for Briar Rose he want to be 🌹
he’s not a bad boy but a rebel prince and charming through his very constant sarcasm, which is his defens mechanism thanks to his relationship with his father, King Hubert, that made him feel he will never be good enough…
Sleeping Beauty makes more sense now!! Why Phillip ends up in the woods when he meets her and the sentence “once upon a dream” is practically the most important part of the story, making everything much more relatable and real and meaningful, giving another meaning to “true love” because true love is made and constructed 🥹 this movie was my childhood and this book is my dream come true
And i have to say, this is the second book I read from this series (i think right now there are only 3) but i’m impressed with the diversity Disney aloud in some characters and i love the independent and strong minded personality Linsey Miller gave to the princesses
