This was my first “Hockey Romance” but I enjoyed it. It was very dark at first, so you for sure need to look at trigger warnings. I enjoyed the twists in the book but I did feel like it was trying to do too much. We didn’t need that level of trauma for our MC for the story to work. Still, it was an enjoyable ride and I always appreciate an actual story line in a romance novel.
