The Five-Star Weekend
by Elin Hilderbrand
This book was wonderful. It’s not, like, high art but it knows what it is. It’s a really good beach read (that I read in winter bc I like to try and read all the GR year-end nominees).
The thing that was most striking to me was honestly that it was the authors 29th book! How does a person have so many stories? This book had like 8 storylines going at once. So she thought of 8ish storylines per book?? Math that up and it’s a bajillion storylines. And I enjoyed them all. Some were predictable, some were not, but all got their own pretty bow.
