⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first James Patterson book, and holy balls was this a trip. I was not sure what to expect, but I definitely was not disappointed. Gritty, dark, and suspenseful…a lot of books say they’re suspenseful, but really it’s just hype…this was legit suspenseful. And gross. If you’re squeamish about death and dead bodies (and burnt bodies) it will be hard to get through in some places so proceed with caution.

Very twisted. Very clever. Very dark. And the ending is satisfying, though some folks might find it tied up a bit too nicely…YMMV.
