I fell in love with this book. I am a very emotional reader and I feel all the things the book springs on me. But with this book, I was finally able to just relax and read. Jewel E. Ann has a way of writing where I can just be within the pages and not worry. The tension between Jamie and Calvin got me right from the beginning as well as their little teases and bickering. The book has its way of showcasing the difficulties of diffrent emotions and I think Jewel did an amazing job by writing the emotions in a way where we feel both sides of the story. I am not the biggest fan of third-act breakups because sometimes the reasons or just not that big of a deal. With this book though I agreed and I think they needed the distance. The writing is absolutely beautiful and amazing. She has a way of writing that grips me and holds me in place with a touch of calmness that I need. I will pick up another book by her!
