Wyrd Sisters
by Terry Pratchett
Wyrd Sisters was the November pick for my monthly book club with friends and was perfectly in-keeping with the spirit of Halloween. This is the second Discworld novel I've read and I enjoyed it immensely. The plot was entertaining, the characters loveable and the world immersive. Pratchett's dry humour is effective and genuinely funny. There were crazy witches, ghosts, political plots, time travel and amusing plot twists. It was all kind of ridiculous, but in the best possible way. I look forward to continuing with the series.
