The Dead Queens Club by Hannah Capin

3.0

The book has several things to recommend it. The Audio edition which i used is very well done and certainly portrays the setting and the characterisation well. The concept of moving Henry VIII and his wives to the modern day schoolboy and his girlfriends was a really good idea and worked well. There were times when the "shrillness" of the characters annoyed me but it was true to the storyline. I felt it was a bit protracted and could have been told in less pages.
