I think I just found another favorite author of mine. Elsie Silver does a fantastic job of writing witty banter, swoon-worthy cowboys, and steamy spice! A single dad x nanny trope is becoming one of my favorites!

Cade and Willa’s story is one of my favorites. When I met Cade Eaton in the first book of this series, I was hesitant to start this book because he was just SO grumpy all the time. In comes Willa, who definitely doesn’t shy away from putting Cade in his place. The adorable 5 year old Luke stole my heart in the first book, but getting to see more of him in this book really solidified the love I had for him as a character. The interactions between him and Willa are so heartwarming! Cade and Willa couldn’t be more perfect for one another, and I can’t wait to see more of their little family in the upcoming books.

What I love most about series like this one, is that you really get to know the ins and outs of the characters, and they feel like family once you’re done reading their books. I feel like their stories are realistic, and have a good blend of spice and plot. The character development we see in this book with both Cade and Willa is really inspiring for anyone who is scared of getting hurt and uses a shield to protect themselves.
