Eve Brown is generally irresponsible and after a big failure at work, her parents sit her down to force her to face this truth. Eve does the only logical thing and walks into the first place she sees hiring to try to interview completely off the cuff. The interview goes TERRIBLY, but when leaving Eve accidentally hits her would-be boss with her car leaving him helpless and her available and indebted.
This book was SO cute and funny. If the meet cute isn't enough to sell you, let me assure you that these are the most lovable characters possibly ever. Eve is sweet and quirky. Jacob is grouchy and deeply devoted to the things he loves. Both of them are at least a little neuro-spicy. I really loved everything about this book: the growth, the banter, and need I say again the meet-cute??? We also got a check in with the past characters that I really appreciated. All the warm fuzzies!!
Check your trigger warnings if you are going to read this one! There is some content in here that may trouble some readers. It's always best to look out for yourself.
This book is perfect for people looking for a sweet romcom starring two lovable goofs.
