We Can't Keep Meeting Like This by Rachel Lynn Solomon

the love story of quinn, whose parents are wedding planners and tarek, whose parents run a catering company. some good representation, namely ocd and a jewish character. the plot was questionable and confusing at times, whenever something did happen it was very predictable. felt sort of like a debut novel, which i don't know if it is. didn't like the writing style because i feel like the author was overexplaining a lot of the time. the characters were ... meh? quinn is alright, purely because the fact that she's the ocd representation of the novel made her have an actual personality. tarek, however, had none. poor him. for that reason, their romance had no impact on me.
i won't comment on it myself because i'm not muslim, but i've heard from muslim people that the representation here is horrid. and i believe them and support their opinions!
