Betrayal: The Betrayal; The Secret; The Burning by R.L. Stine

2.0

The story was repetitive, so much happened but it felt as though nothing extended the plot. Sayings and phrases were used over and over again in the novel, and were more frustrating than anything else. It felt pretty pointless in general, and the ending felt rushed with a pretty underwhelming concluding line. Not a huge fan, but I think it would be a good book for younger readers, maybe 12, that are looking for a Halloween read that isn't too terrifying.
