A Complicated Omega's Second Love by Kichi Uekawa

3.75

What an interesting, original story concept! Tasuku was born an omega an d he worked hard all his life. But an unexpected heat at a young age led to him being attacked by an alpha, and his parents panicked. Moved to a new school, Tasuku began to live as an alpha, and now works in a prestigious company.
Right in the middle of sex, Tasuku Sakuru "wakes up" and avxnzxccuses the alpha, Narushige, of taking advantage of him while he was asleep. Except, according to Narushige, they're mates!
Narushige explains, with evidence!, the complicated story of how 2 weeks ago - an event which is the last thing Tasuku remembers - sparked a heat and they ended up together. Over the last 2 weeks, they've become so close that Tasuku moved in! Only, he doesn't remember any of it, because of the heat.
What's worse is that they're professional rivals.
This was a really cute story about work enemies becoming lovers. Although it says omegas in this world have a nesting instinct, we didn't get to see that. I would have loved a bit more of the romantic relationship on page, as well. Otherwise it was a good story with nice artwork. The original concept tipped it over from a nice but underwhelming 3* to a 4.
