暁のヨナ 9 [Akatsuki no Yona, Vol. 9] by Mizuho Kusanagi, 草凪みずほ

4.0

This is definitely the first book of the series that’s materials are not covered in the anime - and I loved it. I love the silly undertones of the crew becoming bandits, only to be heavily contrasted by the middle chunk revealing Sinha’s dragon ability/power. Boy, was that dark! Only to then be nicely sandwiched the comedically depressed Tae-Jun.

I just keep living this series and how much it manages to keep me on my toes and make me debate whether I want to laugh or cry (if not cry, hug and protect).
