A darker story than I generally choose to read but was prompted to read this as part of a book club. I did find the story engaging and never felt that I would stop reading it. I am horrified to learn it's based on a true story. I appreciate this book for expanding my reading horizons, but I'm not sure if it is a genre I will seek out often. Great story, but not my preferred cup of tea, if you will.
