Bløød Rains Down is book 2 in The Stories series by HM Wolfe, and it follows our rag tag group of warriors as they prepare for the war to end all wars. Led by Hyacinth and Landers, they all know war is on the horizon…but it maybe closer than they know.
I thought The Book of Cin was phenomenal, but Blood Rains Down obliterates it hands down. I couldn’t read through this book fast enough, and I was on the edge of my seat for so much of this book. You know that meme about reading be relaxing while we scream and cry and all that jazz? This book is the absolute definition of that. It is a delectable rollercoaster ride that will take you through ALLLLLLL the emotions, but my favorite is the feminine rage. It’s top tier. And the heartbreak? It will bring you to your knees.
The depth that is added to these characters in this book just blew my mind. The way HM wrote them, they’re complex and beautiful and broken and wholesome.
