Unlike with Mort, I actually noticed the chapter thing. Says a lot for Mort that I didn't with that one as I was so excited to read on. I have mixed feelings about it - the scenes aren't long enough for chapters so it means making your own but hey that will keep each reread fresh!
I liked having more about Death and his new adventure. I liked the wizard's story too. I even liked/loved the bit with the trees and mayflies. I didn't really get the bit with the trolleys.
Pratchett is so funny. I love his humour.
When I say slow paced, I do not mean bad! I mean if you slow down a bit you will notice his writing and it's worth it. His wry comments, puns and interesting way of seeing the world. I love it. With some writers the main thing is hurrying to the next plot point but Pratchett isn't just about that.
