great plot in theory, but poorly executed. extremely disappointed in the fact that raegan practically gave up her entire career for a man. and no, not jude, but her father. for someone who originally seemed so strong and had potential as a character, she ended up falling extremely flat. additionally, this book was just... boring. i was hoping for a little more enemies to lovers considering they’re political rivals but it almost felt like instalove, which was kind of annoying. just nothing redeeming about it that i enjoyed in general tbh :/
