I wanted to like this book so much and, the thing is, that I was. But I was at 50% and I didn't have the motivation to finish it. It's a fine book. Interesting premise, good characters, good writing. Yet, the pacing is off. I kept wondering when things would start happening and I couldn't justify finishing it with how little enjoyment I was getting from the book. I wasn't hooked into it at all.
