Beloved
by Corinne Michaels
A 'romance' where I really don't care if the hero and heroine get together. The heroine has issues, and frankly comes across as neurotic and fairly annoying. It would be exhausting trying to be this chick's friend. I did like the 'professional' side of her though. It was a nice change to see a woman portrayed at being good at her job, and not just sitting around swooning over men all the time.
The hero's kind of a jackass, the evil ex-boyfriend was one dimensional. You get no clue as to what the heroine actually saw in him, or her ex-friend.
Glutton for punishment that I am, I will be reading the next book to see how it ends.
