I wish I could give this a 3.75 rating.
There’s a lot to love! Rowell is brilliant at bringing you into a moment and capturing your attention. These characters have meant the world to me since I read Fangirl almost a decade ago, and it’s emotional to see Simon and Baz’s story come to a close (which is why it took me so long to finally read it…)
The problem is it really DIDN’T come to a close. I feel that I’m left with more questions than ever. So much was left unexplained, and more than a few plot lines were underdeveloped.
However, it’s impossible not to love spending time in the world of the mages. Especially with Simon and Baz.
I’m just going to read Carry On again…
