A Danger to Herself and Others by Alyssa Sheinmel

3.0

While away at a summer college program, 17 year old Hannah’s roommate ends up in the hospital after a freak accident. Hannah swears she had nothing to do with it, but ends up being taken to a mental institution anyway. Hannah knows she doesn’t belong, so why do the doctors have her labeled as “a danger to herself and others”? Hannah must work, with the help of her roommate Lucy, on making
sure the doctors believe she isn’t crazy and that she had nothing to do with Agnes’s accident.

This was a 3.5 ⭐️ read for me. It held my interest and stayed consistent. The reason I ranked it on the lower side was because I guessed the big plot twist pretty early on in the book, so there wasn’t anything to look forward to.
