4,5 stars rounded up — a few unresolved issues that I wish had been addressed on the page but only minor (for me personally)!

UGH. MY HEART. I have so many feelings??? This author has slain me. This book was so INTENSE and the content will definitely be triggering for some but also HOLY WOW, what a romance? I don’t think I’ve read anything as emotionally raw and consuming as this in a while… The connection between them was taut and the chemistry so palpable and it sucks that these two aren’t real cos I wanna read their books and I’m so invested in their love. It was far from a perfect romance but it was so bloody real. I feel like this really toed the line between being a contemporary fiction and romance so finely but it’s one helluva romance! I can’t believe I waited so long to read this when everyone has been raving about it and I’m so glad to say that I 1000% get the hype. Wowow, I love!!! More coherent review to come.
