"She'd dreaded her arrival to Foxglove, and yet now that she was here, finally in a home of her own, she realized that all she'd really needed was a moment to herself in a place where she was in full control. A place where she could focus on having a bit of earth between her fingers. A place where she could finally just... be."
I did not expect to give this book five stars. I actually almost didn't finish this book after part one, and I am so happy I did. I was really thrown off when Fate so easily overthrew Death. The moment Signa moved to foxglove and met her ghostie godmother and Blythe & Aris chemistry started to build, I was hooked!! I was completely thrown for the ending (multiple times) AGAIN; Adalyn Gace really knows how to end a book.
"'My love for you is not confined to time, nor fate," she continued. 'It is a love that I will hold with me for an eternity, which is why I am not afraid.'"
