An excellent and clever thriller that I couldn't put down!

Every time I thought I'd worked out the suspect, another detail came up that made me question my judgement - and the truth was unexpected and unpredictable. The tension both with the murder mystery and Neve's web of lies to cover her affair put me right in there with her, and several points made me really sad. I felt her pain when she found out her husband was also having an unexpected affair, and also her unchanging devotion to her daughter even as far as saying she would take the hit if it turned out her daughter was guilty and trying to frame her. It reflected how complicated and messy family and relationships can be - the unconditional love and devotion, despite particularly turbulent times, and emotional confusion
