the only reason I'm giving it this rating is because the last short story practically had me in tears. saved the whole book, I was not particularly inspired by any of the short stories in there. Church wasn't even that strong a theme, I thought the book would do a better job at exploring the conflict between the Church and personal desires. All the characters seemed relatively disconnected from the church already...
