It's been a while since I last read an Artemis Fowl book (and by that, I mean a few months, so not really that long), but I can say with some small amount of certainty that I think this might be my favourite of the series so far.
The story's a little more mature this time around, most notably, with the death of Commander Root , and it looks like our team has finally worked out most of the kinks of working together.
This book seems like a turning point in the direction of the series; I'll be excited to see whether or not it's a good direction it's moving or not.
