Dammit, I loved this book. I was kind of tired of the original storyline after The Legends of Thezmaar  book 4, and I wasn't sure what to expect with this split. But this was a great story. It was funny and there was much more yearning. I loved it. There were some eye roll moments, sure. But a promising new trilogy with some familiar characters. 

I'm also furious about the end. Which is why I take half a point. A bit of a repeat of book 2 in LoT.
