This novel basks is it's slow paced development at times. However, the dual narrative balanced that issue out for me. The incest and sex scenes were uncomfortable but obviously those scenes are meant to support the thematic development of fate in the novel. Besides those scenes, the prose was very expressive.
Graphic: Gore, Incest, Rape, Murder
Moderate: Transphobia
