The First Four Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder
3.0
Fair warning, this book is not like the others. “The First Four Years” was an unfinished manuscript found in Laura’s papers. It was published by a family lawyer long after her death and even after her daughter, Rose, had died. It is quite apparent that this is not as polished as the other books. It is also much less optimistic and hopeful. It is still worth reading. But don’t expect the same tone or feeling as the rest of the series. It is its own creature. But interesting nonetheless.
