Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

5.0

It is a great story. Classic for a reason. And yet I have seen this kind of plot before and had all the confusing thoughts about human rights before. I wish I had read Agatha Christie when I was younger. Then maybe I wouldn't have thought all its copies so awesome.
It was really good at throwing us off the scent. I do think it is better if I read these books in ine sitting. I forget the important clues, reaction and statements that were suspicious. Reading it in one sitting does have the benefit of my mind actually racing with all the different theories that I have come up with throughout the book. It makes the end revelation more awesome. Otherwise the experience gets a little mellow and the end makes me feel like all that was for nothing the, it doesn't even matter.
Agatha Christie knows how to unravel things at the tight pace. Even though the ends are surprising and totally different from our theories, there is a point to everything that happens and nothing is a waste at any point.
