Identity Crisis
by Brad Meltzer
Identity Crisis is a murder mystery novel in superhero form. It features the entire Justice League and luckily relies on several narrators as the story progresses, giving us insight into each of their points of view on the situation. The mystery itself was a head-scratcher for me, and I definitely didn't guess the ending beforehand, which made for a really interesting read. What's best about this one, though, is that it has a lot of heart. The characters all have thoughts and feelings, and you can really see that on their faces throughout the book. It takes a talented author and illustrator to make me care about Elongated Man and become interested in Green Arrow, but these guys did it!
