Klaus by Grant Morrison

I had to get this through InterLibrary Loan, meaning DPL didn't choose to purchase copies of it. Or, and this is a likely possibility, the book's binding tends to easily fall apart and the copies in the system already got trashed or never returned. Anyway, because Grant Morrison was one of the handful of comic writers who got me deeply into the the medium when I was 22. Ever since, like a lot of other fans, their (Grant's) books have either been really memorable OR so overwhelming and conceptual that I finished and returned it without really understanding what I'd just read, and that's no good.

Klaus, on the other hand, is told in such an understandable action movie x fairy tale style, with well-paced twists, and absolutely stunning, intricate-but-clear illustrations and colors. I really hope there's more of this, and that I can convince my library to buy it.
